Why District Zero

Film standards. Advertising speed.

A studio built by film VFX artists and organised to move at the pace of advertising.
  • 01

    Film-grade quality

The artists on your commercial have delivered shots for feature films and series. Same standards, same review rigour, on a 20-second spot.

  • 02

    One point of contact

Your District Manager is our head of production: one person who owns schedule, budget and communication from brief to delivery. No middlemen, no lost notes.

  • 03

A team sized to your job

We assemble the right specialists from a network of 70+ and scale up or down as the project moves. For agencies we work white-label, under your name and under NDA, with film-industry data security.

  • 04

    Faster by design

Our in-house Aigascope R&D tools speed up the repetitive parts of VFX, like roto, file management and review prep, so more of your budget ends up on screen.

How we work

  1. Brief

Send the brief, the script or just the idea. A WhatsApp message is enough to start.

  2. Proposal

We come back with the approach, timing and budget, and the team sized to fit.

  3. Production

Regular reviews with your District Manager, so there are no surprises at the end.

  4. Delivery

Final masters in every format, length and aspect ratio you need.

Film & TV

Built on film Our team's film & TV credits.

Our founder and core artists have delivered VFX shots on feature films and streaming series, where every frame has to hold up on a cinema screen. That's the standard we bring to every commercial.
Research & Innovation

Aigascope R&D Tools that make us faster.

Aigascope began as a startup idea: an AI-assisted rotoscoping and animation pipeline, designed to make a film production up to 10x more efficient.

Today it's the in-house toolkit our artists use every day: AI-assisted roto, automation and pipeline tools that keep every production fast and organised. It keeps evolving with each project we deliver.

It's human-first by design. The tools take the repetitive work, artists make the creative calls, and we keep your footage and data private.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Something else on your mind? Ask us on WhatsApp.

What do you do exactly?

We make visuals for advertising: VFX and compositing for commercials, automotive and product CGI, real-time and Unreal Engine content (3D billboards and DOOH, configurators, experiential, mobile) and AI-assisted production such as AI films, avatars and assistants. The team comes from film VFX, and so do our standards. See the work.

Do you work with agencies or directly with brands?

Both. Agencies bring us in as their VFX, CGI and real-time team, often white-label and under NDA, so the work goes out under your name. Brands can also come to us directly, and we take care of the visual production end to end.

How much does a project cost?

Every project is quoted after we've seen the brief. There's no fixed rate card: we size the team to the scope and the budget, and tell you upfront what's realistic for it.

How fast can you deliver?

It depends on the scope, but speed is how we're built: a senior team sized to the job, AI-assisted pipelines and no layers of account management. Share your deadline in your first message and we'll tell you honestly in our first reply whether we can hit it, and how.

What do you need to get started?

A brief or script, your deadline, a budget range and any references you like. Rough is fine. Send it on WhatsApp and we'll come back with questions or a first proposal.

Where are you based?

District Zero is registered in Malta, with artists across Malta, Italy and Croatia. We work remotely on Central European Time with agencies and brands anywhere, and join shoots on location for VFX supervision.

Do you still work on films?

Yes. Film and TV VFX is where our team comes from, and we still take on work for feature films and series. See our film credits.
